We held our first Putting “Fore” Horizons fundraising event in many years on Friday, April 11 at Biotech Place in downtown Winston-Salem. It was a LOT of fun. Folks got to play a “round” of putt putt and take part in a lot of fun and games to benefit Horizons! We enjoyed great company, delicious food and drinks, music, a live auction, raffle and other games and prizes. We shared our new video (see below) and then heard a very moving talk from Will Grantham whose sister had lived here for 20 years before she passed away.
It really was a special evening and we raised over $50,000 to provide extraordinary opportunities for those who live at Horizons.
We are very grateful to all those businesses and individuals who sponsored the event and can’t wait to do it again next year!
